That’s what I thought, Plasma and LCD TVs no way. But LED TVs are so clear, it is awesome.

If thats the way you think Cabby, no cheap pirated DVDs and illegal fireworks from Hong Kong for you…
I remember going from a 19in to a 24…nearly blinded me. I used to run the HDMI out to the 50inch on occasion and play with a wireless setup…SO BIG
i think i might start saving for this beast

7970 is looking like a beast 15-25% over the 580, roughly 40% over the 6970, and its cooler, chews less than a 5850 at idle and only a 570 when under load. and its quiet until you hit 40% fan
I’ve been saving for months
Waiting for a 7990 personally tho =D
edit: Was eating breakfast looking at those benchmarks, and I literally spat out my cereal (away from my PC luckily).
i’ll stick to single core cards, i’ve had 9800GX2 was nice, but i prefer single core for stability etc.
I only bought a 6950 to fix the issues my GTX480 was having with Frostbite (in MOH & BC2).
Had both Ati/Nvidia over the passed 2 years i’m gonna definitely stay with the green team…Better drivers/physX/ and generally more compatible with current games imo…:wink2:
In my experience Mac, its been the exact opposite. But I suppose I might have been lucky/unlucky with AMD/NVIDIA.
Ive certainly had alot less issues running nvidia than ati/amd. From 4850s to now my most enjoyable cards have been the 460s and now 480s
Definitely a firm Nvidia supporter for dual card setups, but I’ve also had success with AMD in gaming builds for friends. For automated refresh rate changes (going from 24Hz - 50Hz - 60Hz), the CCC makes life easy which is why I prefer AMD graphics cards in HTPC builds.
Been reading this one for a little bit - Bit of poor form by gigabyte.
When you start overclocking the mofsets on a few giga boards pop. They a re offering a recall/replacement -
