If you seen his pic Chromy, hes pulling sub 50’s. Id say if he ran prime for an hr or so he’d get same temps as yours or better.

Only had time to run the test for an hour this morning. No problems so far from prime, so thats good. temps are considerably lower than the temps that chromy has posted, so looks like I have a healthy baby… I mean computer :yahoo:

Nice work, agree with Az, that chip has plenty more left in it.

and that’s with an overclocked CPU which is the essential thing to remember. 80’C for a stock clocked CPU would be alarming, but it’s considered safe when approaching the chip’s max OC.

I check my temps daily when 50+ load and the temps are always good, that 212 + cooler is a great recommendation nipper thanks, then again the whole computer is awesome

There are heaps of other good coolers out there, any of them generally put the stock HSF to shame. The reason I recommended the 212+ is just because it has been around long enough to proven it works, and it’s good value.
