Don’t know if this was posted but hey i’ll do it anyways.

3DMark are releasing the DX11 benchmarking software later this year, so by the time the flagship 6000 series cards are out they’ll have a new benchmark to test em with.

i suggest watching it in 1080p on youtube.

3DMark 11 is the latest version of the world’s most popular benchmark for gaming PCs. 3DMark 11 uses a native DirectX 11 engine which makes extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11 including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.

High Temple is a demonstration of the DirectX 11 powered 3DMark 11 engine. 3DMark 11 will be released in 2010. There will be a free edition that allows unlimited runs available at launch.

The music and audio design is by Pedro Macedo Camacho. Find out more at http://www.musicbypedro.com/

The Antec logo placement within the High Temple tech demo is a special sponsorship arrangement between Antec and Futuremark. Advertising placements ensure that Futuremark can offer a free edition of the benchmark alongside the paid editions.

There’s another. Always funny to see branding in the game, vantage had sapphire on the jet boat thing, now they have msi subs.

#5

and they had antec on that car in the first one

#6

I saw that sub one when the 5 series came out. they even had it for a comparison with the whole tessellation vs non tessellation thing in dicksmith.

#7

Must of been one of the first ones they developed for DX11.

Bugger … but at least it shouldnt be buggy

Over the weekend we made the difficult decision to postpone the launch of 3DMark 11 by a few days.

Our aim is that 3DMark 11 should provide accurate, reliable and consistent results from the start. With that goal in mind we are taking some extra time now to fix a couple of difficult bugs rather than patch the benchmark immediately after launch.

It might take a day, it might be a week, but either way we’ll confirm the new launch date as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
