hey guys i’m trying to make myself a sig useing adobe photoshop cs3 but im a complete noob with the programme so i’ve limited myself to the base minimum of useage with it. anyways this is what i’ve come up with.
give thoughts etc on it but if you could make it look alot better i would like you too! 
anyways here is the background pic untouched if you wanna give it a shot.
I’ll let the heavyweights give you real advice.

sigtutorials is a top site for tuts on sig making from beginner tuts and progressng as you go.
Using a stock is quite tricky … especially when learning imo
planetrenders is a fantastic site for renders ( cut out pics from stocks)
if you look at the stickies in this very thread you will see a simple tut from chilli on some basic stuff using renders.
dont think your sig or art has to be the size of the pic you have either … open a new page, choose the dimensions you want in pixels (ie i think mine is 450x200 … nips looks like 450x150 or so).
Then drag your image onto it (make sure you have the cursor tool/grab tool or what ever the fuck its called selected) . then it puts it on a new layer … then goto edit > transform > scale …it highlights the full image … then just drag your pic till you find a corner, then hold shift and drag the corner into itself and the image will shrink by scale.
tip 1…its tooooooooooo freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaking HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE
tip 2 go to deviant art and look up stuff like sig tutorials, there are tonnes and tonnes of them on there.
tip 3 sign up to here and have access to shit loads of renders http://planetrenders.net/renders/index.php
tip 4 go to say deviant art again and download PS brushes and www.dafont.com for tonnes of fonts (note: don’t have 9000 fonts, it fucks up with PS)

yeah Highschool of the Dead is awsome. I was thinking this pic of hirano shooting as above or the pic of Komuro shooting that sniper over Rei’s body (reference ep 8). but damn hard to find a render of just Hirano shooting the gun though
I woulda enjoyed it when i was 15 without access to the wonders of the net and gigs of porn. Massively excessive titillation and cookie cutter chars just annoy me now :tongue2:. I’ll comment on actual sigs when I can actually see em at home
Highschool of the Dead is an awsome anime so is Asobi ni Iku Yo! and also my all time fave!!! TTGL!!! and many more anime i could list off but im sure you dont wanna see a page of anime titles
TTGL is epic, one of the best. Hellsing OVA is up there too, Cowboy Bebop and my latest craze, Great Teacher Onizuka.
When it comes to massively produced anime though, One Piece FTW.
TTGL, Hellsing OVA, FMA Brotherhood, Cowboy Bebop, all epic, and HOTD is full of boobies and epic zombie killing, how is that not win
i like that cartoon where they are in the clouds…some brother and sister and the sister has powers…
however…IMO…You cant go past a good old justice League cartoon…you know back in the old days when they had the twins who could change into anything…lol
hehe justice league was ok back in the day but nowhere near as attractive as anime these days. Hellsing OVA’s are epic
