What buttons do you guys have set for crouch/prone.
Do you have any other little secrets regards to mouse buttons or keys which you find makes it easier in game?

i’ve remapped my Z board so they are closer not that i usualy use them, i tried them on my mouse theni forgot they where there

Crouch and Prone are the same, Ctrl is probably the best spot for it.
Ive got a few, firstly ive changed my Parachute button to Alt, easier to reach than the stupid 9 key. My mouse wheel and tilt left and right, which have been assigned to letters, which have been assigned to change to pistol, and change to primary weapon (cause youve got the ‘g’ key which will cycle through your weapons, so say you’re using the F2000, hit G to change to your GL, i tilt my wheel right and im back to my F200).
Just makes game play a little quicker.

I use CTRL for Crouch but Prone is lying down:blink:
I use the middle mouse to bring up Mr Nade!, might change it though so tilting it left brings up med pack and tilt right brings up paddles. That way I can reload my paddles quickly by moving the middle button left the right again.

Yeah sorry, i ment they’re left at default. So prone being what…‘z’? I dont remember…my fingers just know what to do, LOL.
Yeah that sounds like an idea. Just takes some getting used to. Personally i wouldnt suggest using the middle mouse button (wheel being pressed down), theres too much of a chance that you’ll roll the wheel and slide through your kit…i hate it when that happens to me. But i guess it depends on how easily your middle mouse button can be pressed.

Well I dont worry about the settings for the mouse so muc…I have aG5 so I can adjsut the settings in game with the clcik of the finger…G5 FTW.
As far as the middle mouse button goes you have the option on the G5 to click it left and right, not roll…perhaps even the bottun on the left I could use for med Kit and paddles…

Love it. But i dont use the sensitivity buttons, i dont even have the software installed - save on memory. But i do use the sensitivity buttons when i get into a Jet for example, but ive changed my helicopter and jet sensatitiy anyway, so i barely touch them.

save on memory…pfft…you goose…whats a 400gig HD worth these days…Its worth installing for the extra bottons, espesially for COD4, I use the side button for the knife so without stopping you can swipe the knife in close quarters without changing weapons. Also the other side button for calling the UAV/CHOPPER.
Its more suited to COD4 than BF2 with the funtionality. 4 clicks of the center mouse button left and right and I can peg 4 nades in about 4 seconds
I have the software if you need it.

Lol, i didnt mean memory as in hard disk space, memory as in computer load time, etc. I dont need or want the software, but thanks for the offer.

dunno you click down a few notches to 400 dp when sniping boom head shot back up 4 notches in a tank works well

get in a tank or plane and i turn the dpi up on the mouse. Dont use setpoint as its shit.

meh i didnt use it just because it fooked my side button up all the time and it wouldnt work in ts. Or something like that lol it’s been a while. I didnt use any of the features anyway.
And I dont need it for anything else. My logitech keyboard is that old it still uses iTouch.
