So it looks like I can play but i have to turn off my AVG firewall…Ive tried all sorts of settings but no joy.
Anyone ever had this and got around it?

AVG Firewall?? I heard of it in earlier avg;s etc but in avg 11 / 12 I havent seen it. Does it come as an app now?
You are positive thats the issue? Got pbsetup and checked for latest pb update?
What version AVG do you run, the current like me ( AVG 12)
You might be able to go into the control center, and then tools>Potentially Unwanted Programs and maybe put an exception in?

avg 12…Ive got it as an exception and its workied fine till yesterday. I know its the firewall because as soon as I trun it off I can play. Im not sure however if the issues is BF3 and the firewall or PB issue etc. I have updated my PB as well but still didnt fix it.
I just have to rmember to but the FW back on after games
