Just wondering if there is any plan to include Blackops in games we play coz it’s looking good, dedicated servers return and i recon i’m going to get it.

Yeh considering the majority of the older clan members came on board for cod4, I think we’re all keeping an eye on it. We basically have a looksee at every fps that comes out and see if it’ll fly for us. Here’s hoping this one is solid :yes:
Dedicated servers are supposedly back with black ops. Looking at the trailer, it seems Treyarch have had to incorporate Activisions desired stuff from mw2 … they may drop a bomb like having ded servers aka bc2 style where you have pretty much no control over all game mechanics.
I certainly hope they deliver ded servers in full … but until i see the proof… i’ll be skeptic.

lol, I think the only game I’ve preordered to date is Dragon Age. With the ever increasing consolisation of gaming, I highly doubt i’d preorder anythin again. FPS particularly seem hit and miss, dunno why you’d preorder when they’re gonna be putting thousands of em on shelves.
Even more so when you can get the game brand new for the PC for $30 on its release date. Mafia 2 is the first game I’ve ever preordered and that’s only because it is the follow up to my favourite game.
The way I have always thought about it, if you are dying to play the new game then preorder it as it guarantees that you’ll get a copy straight up. (Remembering that Tassie is not the metropolis that Sydney and Melbourne are)

They usually get the games straight away, and with shipping always come to around $30. You have to wait roughly a fortnight for it to arrive though.
I’ve bought CoD MW2, Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 2, Assassins Creed 2 and Bad Company 2 all from those sellers for $30 each, they are always brand new, still in the wrapper.

It remains to be seen exactly how much control will be given out … but another bc2 server release it will be. The COD series has thrived on the mod support for the game … thats no more … so the cash cow is out in the paddock and feeding well it seems.
IF Hypernia get servers … i might buy it … but if its only gameservers we’re fucked anyway as they have 1 data centre in the southern hemisphere only …
