http://www.passmark.com/download/pt_download.htm

Most people will just have to click download on the top link.

Save that and run it, might take a couple mins, then it’ll give you a number at the end, the higher the number, the tougher your rig is.

Ill start with my test

675.5 not bad for a nearly two year old machine

#30

I got a 909.6 and thats with a faulty stick of ram in it.

wow those graphics test fly trough fast, didnt think it would do it cause it wont pass a 3d mark 06 benchmark withe the dodgey components.

My Rig: amd 6000+ 3017mhz
msi 8800 gtx
74 gig wd raptor hhd
200 gig maxtor hhd(secondary)
asus crosshair mobo
razer sound combo
19" lcd screen
2 gig crucial ballistix tracer ram(only 1 gig atm cause 1 stick is faulty
and the second one is on the way out,GRRRRRRRRRR)
thermaltake watercooling on cpu &gpu
2x radiators gets me 41 celcius under load during a hot day
and about 36 celcius during the night
600w zalman psu
All self built was my first build and cost me $2300
I get a 3d mark 06 score of 10500+/- 50 with 1 stick of ram.
will post a pic when i gets me a camera

Case : Some 6 year old custom case lol which I was using before
CPU : AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ (2109.6 MHz)
M/B : Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3 (NVIDIA nForce 560)
GFX : Inno3d Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT
HD 1 : Seagate SATAII 250GB
HD 2 : Seagate SATA 200GB
RAM : Kingston 2 x 1Gb DDR2, PC2-6400
DVD/CD drive : Using an old LG CD Burner atm was just to get XP installed lol. Getting a new DVD Burner soon.
PSU : 350 Watt
Monitor : Diamond View 15" LCD
Audio : Creative Soundblaster Live 5.1, Logitech z-640 Speakers.

Old setup…

Case : Custom Case
CPU : Pentium 4 2.4Ghz
M/B : Some Intel POS.
GFX : Leadtek GeForce Fx5700
HD 1 : Seagate IDE 60GB
HD 2 : Seagate SATA 200GB
RAM : Legend 1 x 512mb DDR; Legend (I think) 1x512mb stick I got off a mate lol
DVD/CD drive : LG DVDRom; LG DVD Burner, which were both dead.
PSU : 350 Watt
Monitor : Diamond View 15" LCD
Audio : Creative Soundblaster Live 5.1, Logitech z-640 Speakers.

When I upgraded I found the DVDrom and DVD burner were dead. Which I already knew but wanted to make sure… On the plus side I sold the CPU, M/B, Video Card, 60GB HDD and Ram to a mate for $50. Even though when he went to put it together the M/B wouldnt pick up my old HDD anymore lmao, so he had to go out and buy a new small HDD. As he was giving my old computer to some friends of his. lol
Not bad seeing as I paid around $4000 for all that 6 years ago and just upgraded for $550 2 weeks ago now. Though I didnt have to buy a new Case, Monitor, Speakers, Keyboard & Mouse. Which would of cost me a lot if I went for top of the line stuff. Like I did 6 years ago.

I’ll try and find the camera to get a newer pic of my computer area.

Edit - Got a rating of 514.0 on that testing program.

#37
