Nvidia GTX 560 Ti

We don’t usually make threads for graphics cards but like its predecessor, the GTX 460, may end up being a staple card for regular gamers.

Bad Company 2 results: http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-560-ti-review/18

I’m seeing $349 as a base price at the moment, which is close to my personal price ceiling of $350. And looks to be performant enough to play this years new games: BF3/ DX3.

The card is getting results similar to the 6870, which is currently topping at $300.

Expect to see prices drop slightly for the 69XX series of cards.

Was just coming to do that Chromy

The 560 is definitely nvidias 6870 opposition, and performs on par … and sli results are looking as good as the 460’s did… great scaling.

Prices are going mental … ati are beginning to chop prices… they cant catch the 580 … so they are looking to smash the low end/mid range area… 6950 prices are falling and soon the 560 will be compared with it for performance/$$ … plus cheaper 1gb ati cards.

Seems the 560 is 15-20% over the 460 … so those looking to update will have more head aches lol.

prices will be $300-350 but i doubt it will be long and they will have to drop to $250 to get sales against ati price cuts

and by god dont they overclock well … free 10fps.

Just been reading a heap of reviews and the Hd6870’s are cheaper and only slightly slower then the gtx560’s and would be a better buy imo…:wink2:

Edit: From what Az was saying its all good for us as more competition the better the prices which ever brand you chose…
